Manager, Critical Operations

About the role

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Manager, Critical Operations to oversee the condition and operational integrity of landlord‑owned infrastructure at its data center sites. You will ensure reliability, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of critical systems such as substations, electrical distribution, roofing, stormwater, lighting, and roadways.

Key responsibilities

• Govern and ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental laws, and building codes, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Develop and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs using a CMMS.
• Oversee performance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems, conducting condition assessments and coordinating repairs.
• Manage vendor selection, contracts, SLAs, and performance, while monitoring operational budgets and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement emergency response protocols, and act as the on‑site emergency lead.
• Serve as primary liaison to tenants, communicating maintenance activities, service disruptions, and infrastructure updates.

Required profile

• 7+ years in facilities operations, critical environments, or industrial infrastructure management.
• 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing maintenance teams or vendor operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems in critical environments.
• Experience managing vendor contracts, budgets, and compliance processes.
