Senior Water/Wastewater Pipeline Project Manager

About the role

HDR Engineering is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Pipeline Project Manager to lead complex pipeline condition‑assessment projects for municipal water and wastewater systems in Dallas, Texas. The role blends technical leadership with client management to deliver safe, sustainable water infrastructure and support public‑health and environmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support and grow client relationships, communicating HDR’s pipeline condition‑assessment, rehabilitation, and repair expertise.
• Direct and coordinate single‑ or multi‑discipline teams throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to close‑out.
• Manage large, multi‑discipline projects or medium‑sized projects with high technical complexity, overseeing a sizable project staff.
• Produce and coordinate multiple projects concurrently while ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
• Lead marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings to maintain client satisfaction.
• Facilitate work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload across the entire project duration.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing water and/or wastewater pipeline condition‑assessment projects.
• Proven ability to lead technically complex, multi‑discipline engineering teams.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of growing practice areas.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
