Senior Test and Quality Engineer - Service Delivery Center

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Test and Quality Engineer for its Service Delivery Center, based in Raleigh (also listed as Dallas) within the financial services practice. The team delivers technology project-based work and managed services to clients, and the engineer works as part of a project team on the design, build, configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of technology solutions. The role is fast-paced and covers the full testing lifecycle, from test planning through release readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Define test scenarios and maintain test evidence
• Execute functional, API, integration, regression and data testing
• Track defects and support root-cause analysis
• Own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support
• Collaborate with product, engineering, testing and operations teams, and mentor less-experienced colleagues where appropriate

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Hands-on experience in software testing, QA and test automation
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Required skills

• Test automation with JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI and REST Assured
• Java/J2EE and Unix/Linux shell scripting for test automation
• SQL for data validation
• CI/CD pipelines, quality gates and Jenkins
• Functional, regression, integration, API and performance testing
