About the role
EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) is hiring a Camunda Workflow Automation Engineer in its Service Delivery Center in Raleigh, NC (also open in Dallas, TX). The team delivers technology project-based work and managed services to clients, and you will work as part of a project team on the design, build, configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of technology solutions. The role is fast-paced and requires flexibility and the ability to learn rapidly changing technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and model and implement BPMN workflows
- Automate decision processes using DMN and integrate enterprise applications
- Deliver scalable, reliable and highly automated business solutions
- Lead workflow solution design, define process architecture and establish enterprise automation patterns
- Work with business analysts, architects and stakeholders to turn business processes into executable workflow solutions
- Advise on process optimization, workflow modernization and automation best practices
- Travel up to 30% of the time
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in enterprise software development, with at least 4 years of hands-on Camunda implementation
- Experience designing and delivering workflow automation solutions with Camunda BPM, BPMN 2.0, DMN and process orchestration
- Experience leading design and development of Java and Spring Boot services for workflow execution
- Experience mentoring developers, conducting design reviews and driving engineering best practices
- Comfortable in Agile environments and with business stakeholders
Required skills
- Camunda BPM, BPMN 2.0, DMN, REST APIs, microservices and cloud-native technologies
- Java, Spring Boot, Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Unit, integration and end-to-end testing
- Ideal: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS and Azure; Camunda Optimize, Operate, Tasklist and workflow monitoring
