Senior Tax Associate - Fluent in Spanish

About the role

Aprio is seeking a Senior Tax Associate who is fluent in Spanish to join its growing Tax team. You will work directly with a diverse client base, providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services while helping the firm expand its Spanish‑speaking market.

Key responsibilities

• Interact closely with clients to deliver tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions across multiple industries.
• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business goals and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with clients to provide proactive tax advice and innovative solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering their growth.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Coordinate workload distribution, project timelines, and training initiatives within the tax department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• 3‑5 years of federal tax consulting or compliance experience in a public accounting firm.
• Recent experience with an accounting firm; international experience is a plus.
• Experience preparing corporate, S‑Corp, and partnership returns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with tax software.
