CFO – Outsourced Accounting (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance leader to head our Outsourced Accounting practice. This remote CFO position offers the chance to shape financial strategy for a diverse portfolio of clients while leveraging modern cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and month‑end close for multiple client accounts.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Manage monthly bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, sales and use‑tax reporting requirements.
• Administer charts of accounts and maintain cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Design and monitor internal controls to protect financial integrity.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Produce financial analyses, KPIs and operational reports for clients.
• Develop budgets and forecasts and keep them updated in financial systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accounting controller or senior finance professional.
• Strong background in client accounting services and outsourced finance models.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to act as a trusted partner to clients.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
