Senior Systems Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support mission‑critical Department of Defense systems in a high‑security environment. The role focuses on Linux system integration, AWS cloud engineering, automation, and secure deployment across hybrid and on‑premise infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems in accordance with DoD STIGs and security baselines.
• Design, implement, and manage AWS solutions (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) within hybrid environments.
• Develop automation using Bash and Python scripts for provisioning, integration, and sustainment.
• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management, hardening, and patching.
• Perform IV&V of system builds, document defects, and ensure repeatable deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• 12+ years of engineering experience on complex DoD or national security programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) and DoD 8570 IAM Level 2 certification.

Required skills

• Intermediate RHEL administration (services, SELinux, performance tuning).
• Intermediate AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Strong Bash and Python scripting for automation.
• Hands‑on Ansible (playbooks, roles, Tower/AWX preferred).
• Experience applying DISA STIGs, HSM concepts, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and IaC.
