Senior Staff AI Security Engineer

About the role

Bill is looking for a senior‑level engineer to lead the secure deployment and operation of AI/ML systems across the company. You will embed security into the AI development lifecycle, building gateways, orchestration layers and tooling that enable rapid innovation while maintaining a strong security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure AI gateways and policy orchestration layers for multiple models and providers.
• Establish and run a formal AI red‑team practice to uncover vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, model extraction and supply‑chain attacks.
• Automate security checks and guardrails, applying the OWASP LLM Top 10 framework to mitigate risks.
• Own the AI security roadmap, advise senior leadership on AI risk, and mentor engineers across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven track record building and scaling security systems in high‑growth environments.
• High proficiency in Python or Go for building security tooling.
• Deep understanding of LLM‑specific attack vectors and the OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Experience designing secure API gateways and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions.
