Lead Product Manager – Rewards Platform

About the role

Join BILL as a Lead Product Manager responsible for building and scaling the Rewards Platform that powers how customers earn, manage, and redeem rewards across all BILL card products. You will define the vision, create a real‑time earn‑and‑burn engine, and drive adoption across multiple internal product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3‑year roadmap for a real‑time rewards engine, configurable promotions, referral services and partner integrations.
• Lead the transition from manual, batch‑based rewards to an automated platform that reduces time‑to‑reward from days to seconds.
• Build API‑driven services consumed by Spend & Expense, AP Card and virtual card teams.
• Partner with Data and AI teams to deliver personalized, dynamic rewards experiences.
• Ensure accurate liability accounting, breakage modeling and audit trails in collaboration with Finance and Ledger teams.
• Work with Risk, Compliance and Legal to meet regulatory and accounting standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience, specifically building rewards, loyalty or incentives platforms at the infrastructure level.
• Deep understanding of card economics, interchange, take rate, rewards cost, breakage modeling and impact on LTV and contribution margin.
• Proven track record of zero‑to‑one platform delivery and cross‑functional leadership.
• Hands‑on experience with modern AI tools such as Claude, Replit, Gemini or Perplexity.

Required skills

• Experience with event‑driven or real‑time data architectures, streaming systems and real‑time balance management.
• Ability to design and expose well‑defined APIs for internal consumption.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for discovery, prototyping or product development.
