Senior Specialist, Open Banking Mortgage Solutions

About the role

Mastercard’s Open Finance business is modernising the mortgage journey by enabling secure data sharing between consumers and lenders. The Senior Specialist will bridge customers, product, engineering and implementation teams to ensure our mortgage verification solutions meet market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain deep knowledge of mortgage origination, underwriting, verification and related technology ecosystems.
• Monitor mortgage technology providers, LOS and POS platforms, GSE initiatives and emerging trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Gather and translate business, regulatory and platform requirements into product enhancements and technical specifications.
• Partner with Product Managers to define epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and release plans.
• Support agile development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and user acceptance testing.
• Act as liaison between engineering, client success, sales and legal to drive successful product delivery and adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in business or systems analysis, product operations, mortgage technology or mortgage lending operations.
• Understanding of mortgage origination and underwriting workflows.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both business and technical audiences.

Required skills

• Experience with mortgage POS platforms such as Blend, nCino Mortgage, ICE Consumer Connect.
• Experience with loan origination systems (LOS) like ICE Encompass, Dark Matter Empower, MeridianLink Mortgage.
• Familiarity with API‑based products and financial services integrations.
• Background working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering teams.
