Senior Software Engineer - Go

About the role

Quicknode is seeking a Senior Go Engineer to join its RPC Platform team. You will design, build, and scale the high‑performance blockchain RPC services that power developers and enterprises worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high‑throughput, low‑latency backend services in Go.
• Architect and operate distributed systems, databases, and streaming pipelines.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery from design through production, improving uptime and reducing latency.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and DevEx teams to resolve complex production issues.
• Drive engineering standards and best practices across the platform.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high‑scale production environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to debug complex, cross‑system issues.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in fast‑paced, ambiguous settings.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Go programming language.
• Design and operation of distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures.
• Experience with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, RPC services, and node infrastructure.
• Familiarity with high‑throughput API platforms and data streaming pipelines.
