About the role

An international technology company is seeking a Senior Sales Director to lead its North American expansion for a FinTech trading platform. This high‑impact individual contributor role focuses on new market opportunities, executive relationships, and large‑scale enterprise deals.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute the go‑to‑market plan for North America, targeting strategic business opportunities.
• Lead complex sales cycles with senior stakeholders from initial conversation through to signed contract.
• Act as a trusted advisor, aligning clients’ transformation goals with tailored technology solutions.
• Partner with product, marketing, and delivery experts to ensure long‑term client value.
• Represent the business at key industry events and build a strong market network.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise sales track record, preferably in technology or services.
• Experience managing multi‑stakeholder, consultative deals with 12‑18 month cycles and $350‑800K average deal size.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to navigate complex organisations.
• Structured sales approach (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger).
• Confidence engaging senior business and technology leaders.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to a major North American financial hub, with travel flexibility.
