Senior Public Affairs and Outreach Specialist

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Senior Public Affairs and Outreach Specialist. The contractor supports Government personnel in planning, designing, developing, coordinating and executing exercises and related activities that require facilitation, in line with national and IC exercise policies and guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead support for the end-to-end lifecycle of ODNI communications, outreach and public affairs with internal and external partners, customers and the public
• Mentor and train junior staff
• Use request management tools such as NarQuest to deliver swift, high-quality customer support for communications requests
• Use the constituent relationship management (CRM) tool to manage engagement and outreach information
• Assist with developing, implementing and evaluating engagement strategies
• Provide speech, interview and event preparation for senior leadership, and direct external stakeholder relations, meetings and briefings
• Manage long-term and short-term deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Research, develop and write bi-weekly workforce messages and weekly newsletters, and assist with planning and running agency events, including onsite management
• Support media engagements, develop talking points, and provide content management support for intranet and internet sites

Required profile

• Applicable degree: BS/BA with 18 years of experience, or MS with 10+ years of experience
• Proven success designing and developing exercise plans and workshops in coordination with Intelligence Community interests
