Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Project Manager to lead commercial new‑construction and remodel projects for a multi‑state licensed general contractor. You will oversee multiple jobs, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial new‑construction and remodel projects across multiple states.
• Define project scope, develop detailed budgets, cost estimates, and schedules of values.
• Coordinate and schedule contractors and subcontractors, maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to develop project plans.
• Maintain meticulous records, including contracts, revisions, and progress reports.
• Order and manage materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Address delays, change orders, and budget overruns with effective solutions.
• Travel to job sites for assessments, site visits, and permit acquisition.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Assist with job close‑out documentation, invoicing, and implementation of project management software.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Valid Louisiana Class D driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to meet strict deadlines.
