CEI Inspector Aide – Field Inspection Support

About the role

Parsons is seeking a CEI Inspector Aide to assist in the inspection and monitoring of roadway and infrastructure construction projects, ensuring compliance with FDOT standards, project plans, and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and monitoring of field work to verify conformance to plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate inspections with contractor representatives and higher‑level inspectors.
• Check lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.
• Assist in field sampling, testing of materials, and inspection of completed work.
• Maintain detailed records, prepare inspection reports, and participate in project meetings.
• Support job safety practices and work varied shifts as required.

Required profile

• High school graduate with ability to obtain required certifications within 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Availability for daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to complete timesheets and expense reports promptly.
