Facilities Team Lead

About the role

Murkez Technologies is looking for an experienced Facilities Team Lead to oversee the Facilities & Maintenance support functions for its QSR network across the United States. The role coordinates inventory, dispatch, facilities, and vendor coordinators to ensure SOP compliance, accurate reporting, and smooth communication with U.S. Operations and Facilities leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the four coordinator functions, assigning daily work, reviewing performance, and stepping in to fill coverage gaps.
• Oversee the full work‑order lifecycle, prioritize emergency, high, routine, and preventive requests, and ensure timely closure with complete documentation.
• Manage parts ordering, replenishment, and inventory control, reviewing reorder levels, stock‑outs, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Direct vendor selection, onboarding, documentation, performance monitoring, and master vendor tracker maintenance.
• Ensure timesheet accuracy, consolidate daily/weekly reports, and maintain clear communication with U.S. Operations and Facilities leadership.
• Validate purchases and repairs against approved thresholds and review quotes before escalation.
• Identify inefficiencies across SOP functions, recommend process improvements, and support rollout of new tools and systems.
• Maintain safety, food‑safety, major equipment failure, and business‑interruption escalation procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English for communication with U.S. stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Leadership, organization, and multitasking abilities to manage multiple coordinators and workstreams.
• Experience with inventory management, vendor coordination, or dispatch/work‑order systems is preferred.
