Senior Project Engineer

About the role

A Senior Project Engineer leads complex lift and transport projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed lift plans, perform load and structural analyses, and select appropriate equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASME, AISC, ANSI standards and conduct on‑site inspections.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients, providing real‑time technical support.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement and cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in crane, rigging or heavy lifting industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; OSHA 10 certification.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and pass drug, background, and fit‑for‑duty checks.

Required skills

• Load calculations and structural analysis.
• Proficiency with CAD/3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Lift Planner.
• Experience using engineering software like RISA‑3D, Ansys, Mathcad, MS Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
