Senior Product Data Scientist (Remote)

About the role

As a senior product data scientist at Rula, you will be the analytical engine behind data‑driven decision‑making for one of our product pods. You will partner with senior leaders across product, data engineering, finance, clinical, and operations to generate insights that shape our product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Translate broad business questions into actionable research plans and perform proactive data exploration.
• Model the impact of new features, define success criteria, and drive experimentation and A/B testing for product launches.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders in a compelling manner.
• Improve provider experience, quality, and marketplace balance through data‑driven initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in analytics or data science, with at least 2 years focused on product analytics.
• Deep understanding of product metrics such as conversion, churn, engagement, retention, and LTV.
• Strong experience designing, deploying, and interpreting A/B tests.
• Ability to work effectively with non‑technical cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Python or R for analytics and scripting.
• Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Airflow).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Hex).
• Hands‑on experience with event‑based data analysis.
