Senior Privacy Program Manager

About the role

BILL is seeking a tech‑savvy Senior Privacy Program Manager to scale privacy operations across its Legal and Compliance function. Reporting to the Director, Legal, you will own key elements of the privacy program and partner with Product, Engineering, InfoSec, CX and Procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale core privacy and data‑governance components, including DSAR intake, tracking, fulfillment and metrics.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for new products, features and vendors, and run privacy reviews for AI tools.
• Build and maintain data maps, records of processing, and stay current on systems holding personal data.
• Develop and deliver privacy training, draft policies and SOPs, and monitor changes to CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, GLBA, HIPAA and emerging AI regulations.
• Identify, implement, and roll out automation and AI solutions to improve privacy operations efficiency.

Required profile

• 7+ years in privacy, compliance or technology program management, with 4‑5 years focused on privacy operations (DSARs, PIAs/DPIAs, vendor reviews, cookie consent).
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, GC.ai, Harvey) applied to drafting, summarizing regulations, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with privacy risks tied to AI and experience assessing them.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams across geographies and seniority levels.
• Bachelor’s degree; CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT preferred; JD a plus.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, US state privacy statutes, GDPR, GLBA and HIPAA.
• Proficiency with privacy‑tech platforms such as OneTrust, Transcend or TrustArc.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, GC.ai, Harvey) for document drafting and workflow automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation abilities.
