Senior Oracle Payroll Integrations Developer

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle Payroll Integrations Developer to design, build, and maintain robust integrations across a payroll ecosystem. This remote position collaborates with cross‑functional teams across multiple time zones and may include client site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain payroll integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS and internal/external systems such as HRIS, benefits, finance, time & attendance, tax filing, and banking.
• Query, analyze, and optimize Oracle Payroll tables (PAY*/PY*) ensuring data integrity, auditability, and compliance.
• Develop high‑performance code (PL/SQL, SQL, Java/JavaScript, Python) for transformations, validations, file generation/ingestion, and API orchestration.
• Build interfaces using HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud or comparable middleware.
• Implement REST/SOAP services, SFTP/file pipelines, and manage authentication (OAuth 2.0, certificates, keys).
• Tune queries and jobs for high‑volume payroll cycles, manage error‑handling and retry logic.
• Establish automated testing, reconcile outputs, and enforce SOX/ISO controls and PII protection.
• Instrument integrations with logging, metrics, and alerts (Splunk, ELK, OCI Monitoring) and create dashboards for SLA tracking.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of hands‑on experience building Oracle Payroll integrations in enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Payroll data structures, payroll results, costing, balances, retro, and year‑end reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely in a distributed team.
