Senior Logistics Manager

About the role

The Senior Logistics Manager provides leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors, who are directly responsible for turn‑key warehousing and transportation solutions. The incumbent maintains a high‑level interface with customers on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities

• Interface directly with the customer to resolve issues promptly while maintaining high satisfaction.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve operational issues by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance of employees, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain open communication across work groups and review data to implement necessary actions.
• May manage profit and loss statements depending on scope.
• Lead a proactive safety program and enforce location safety management plans.
• Monitor equipment maintenance using checklists and observations.

Required profile

• Excellent problem‑solving, oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership.
• Ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Independent worker who also thrives as a team member in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organization, analytical and computer skills.
• Capability to create an inclusive, engaged work environment.
• Experience managing profit and loss statements (preferred).
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.

• Salary range $75,000 – $85,000 yearly plus benefits and PTO.
