Senior Information Technology System Administrator

About the role

The Senior Information Technology System Administrator is responsible for the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This position combines traditional system management with the integration of AI-driven automation to meet the IT department’s strategic objectives and OKRs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of computer networks, providing hardware and software support, training, and handling special projects.
• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise antivirus solutions and ensure systems stay up‑to‑date.
• Administer Active Directory, including user/group management, group policies, and health monitoring.
• Manage corporate email systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain web servers and related services, ensuring availability and security.
• Implement backup solutions, develop disaster recovery plans, and conduct regular testing.
• Maintain storage infrastructure, monitor capacity, and optimize efficiency.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track system health, respond to alerts, and resolve performance issues.
• Design and maintain automated scripts and workflows for provisioning, configuration management, and routine tasks.
• Evaluate and manage AI solutions (AIOps, AI assistants) to enhance monitoring and reduce manual effort.
• Align daily operations with IT leadership OKRs and document system configurations and procedures.
• Provide advanced technical support, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with HQ IT on infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing enterprise‑level IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and test disaster recovery procedures.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating across locations.
• Ability to align technical work with strategic objectives and OKRs.
