Senior HR Business Partner – Global Health Nonprofit

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to leaders in PATH’s Product Development division across multiple countries, aligning people strategies with organizational goals and driving performance, talent management, organizational design, change initiatives, and workforce planning. Reporting to the People Experience Director, the role operates in a donor‑funded, multi‑country environment covering Africa, Asia and the Americas and can be performed remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR business partner to senior leaders, creating people plans that address client needs.
• Bridge the gap between business and HR, securing buy‑in for HR initiatives.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning and capability development for scalable performance.
• Advise leaders through periods of growth, change and transformation with pragmatic, people‑focused guidance.
• Coach and challenge leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and team performance.
• Partner with leaders on talent retention, succession planning and leadership development pipelines.
• Guide performance management, quality feedback and continuous development.
• Champion culture and reinforce desired leadership behaviours across designated countries.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a global or multi‑country setting.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive the HR agenda.
• Strong understanding of talent management, succession planning and organizational design.
• Experience working in donor‑funded or nonprofit environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills with a focus on results.
