Senior HR Analytics Analyst (Virtual)

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior Analyst HR Analytics for a virtual position in Georgia. The role takes a lead consultative approach with internal HR clients: identifying their strategic information needs, conducting data and process analyses, providing actionable recommendations and managing analytical projects that support the organization's strategic objectives. It reports to the Sr. Manager of HR Services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze HR, payroll and related business data and processes, identifying trends, root causes and solutions that drive better business decisions
• Build analytical capabilities across the HR organization and coordinate the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions
• Gather functional requirements, maintain documentation, and develop project plans and status reports for analytics projects, guiding IT and HR Services staff
• Design dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids for HR clients and business leaders
• Educate business leaders and HR clients on analytical tools, techniques and the value of the company's HR information assets

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• 4 years of work experience preferred
• Preferred: strong experience with statistical analysis and modeling of business data in HR, payroll, benefits or finance within a retail or large service organization
• Preferred: knowledge of HR and payroll processes in a large organization with a distributed HR team

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for spreadsheet analytics and presentations
• Workday, UKG Dimensions and Salesforce
• Google BigQuery or similar relational databases; SQL skills beneficial
• Designing business reports, dashboards and graphical presentations
• Six Sigma training and certification, with practical experience applying its techniques
• Strong analytical, quantitative reasoning, project management, communication and presentation skills
