Senior Helicopter Maintenance Technician (Remote)

About the role

Join Airbus as a Senior Helicopter Maintenance Support Technician supporting government programs. You will work independently across multiple customer sites in the United States, performing advanced troubleshooting, inspections, and return‑to‑service certifications on BK117 C2/D3 and EC135 helicopters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections using an A&P license outside of a certified repair station.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting to diagnose system and component malfunctions.
• Execute airframe calendar/hourly inspections, hidden‑damage checks, and functional tests.
• Participate in flight tests and perform rotor tracking, balancing, and vibration analysis.
• Travel to customer locations for four‑week on‑site periods, followed by remote work.

Required profile

• Seasoned helicopter maintenance professional with an active A&P license.
• Experience on BK117 C2/D3 and EC135 aircraft.
• Ability to work independently and travel across the U.S.
• Willingness to follow a 4x10 shift schedule (5x8 in CA).
