Quality Assurance Inspector – Onsite in Mineral Wells, TX

About the role

Moog is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join its Mineral Wells, TX facility. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, vendor parts, and assemblies to ensure they meet strict quality standards and documentation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain parts, purchase orders and Receiving Inspection Test Records (RITR) and perform inspections according to drawings and specifications.
• Complete receiving reports, Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) and route accepted parts to stores or rejected parts to the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Verify purchase orders, certifications and packing slips for compliance with procurement quality requirements.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Inspect raw materials, vendor standard parts, complex components, and PC boards using appropriate tools such as calipers, micrometers, surface plates, microscopes, volt/ohm meters and power supplies.
• Perform first‑article inspections, issue authorized release documents when authorized, and record daily receipt activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework is desirable.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
• General working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with mechanical measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, scales, rulers, surface plates).
