Production Welder

About the role

Northmark is seeking a skilled Production Welder to join its Houston team. The role involves interpreting technical specifications and assembly drawings, operating welding equipment, and ensuring a safe, efficient production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, take measurements, and develop welding procedures.
• Set up components for welding, including cutting material with powered saws to match specifications.
• Perform precision welding of small and large components such as copper, stainless steel, super duplex plumbing, beams, and pipelines using manual or semi‑automatic equipment in various positions.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws and oversee specialized industrial welding machinery.
• Maintain, repair, and assess welding equipment and structures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage welding supplies inventory and report any issues or delays to the supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of production welding experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Proficient in English.
