Senior Growth Marketing Manager

About the role

Optimism is a digital publisher focused on wellbeing, delivering newsletter‑first content across health, wellness, longevity and lifestyle. The Senior Growth Marketing Manager will own day‑to‑day execution of growth, lifecycle optimization and marketing operations for multiple newsletter brands.

Key responsibilities

• Drive newsletter growth by analyzing subscriber quality across sources, channels, campaigns and creative assets.
• Audit and optimise onboarding, engagement sequences and subscriber journeys to improve LTV and reduce payback period.
• Design and execute marketing campaigns for product launches, partnerships, lead generation and audience research.
• Manage paid acquisition agencies, set agendas, track performance and ensure focus on subscriber quality over cost.
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep campaigns on schedule, monitor results and build repeatable playbooks.
• Report on performance, recommend optimisations and maintain dashboards that link acquisition, engagement, retention and monetisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in growth marketing for a media or subscription‑based business.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
• Excellent coordination skills to manage cross‑functional teams and external agencies.
• Ability to prioritize business goals, communicate clearly and keep projects moving forward.

Required skills

• Experience with paid media platforms (e.g., Meta) and agency management.
• Data‑driven analysis of acquisition funnels, subscriber LTV and engagement metrics.
• Lifecycle marketing tactics to improve open rates, click‑through, retention and cross‑brand engagement.
