Senior Full Stack Application Developer

About the role

Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Application Developer based in Tampa, FL, to support a Contract Management Tool. This mission-critical platform modernizes financial planning, execution tracking and audit readiness for the Department of Defense. The developer designs, builds and maintains secure full-stack solutions supporting program transparency, fiscal responsibility and operational agility, with local on-site support and some remote capability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams and mission stakeholders to define and implement financial tool capabilities.
• Integrate with DoD financial management systems and ensure data compliance with government regulations.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices with clean, secure data pipelines.
• Apply secure coding practices per DoD STIGs and RMF guidelines, and implement role-based access controls.
• Take part in Agile sprint cycles, code reviews, testing and releases.
• Support DevSecOps pipeline integration and CI/CD automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top Secret security clearance; TS/SCI preferred; US citizenship required.
• Experience in DoD or federal IT environments.
• Preferred: familiarity with DoD budgeting processes (POM, O&M, RDT&E), experience with financial or audit-traceable platforms, and prior work on budget forecasting, contract execution or manpower allocation tools.

• Front-end: React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Back-end: C#, Node.js.NET Core, Java or Python.
• Databases: SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL.
• DevSecOps, Git, CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GovCloud.
• Application security, RBAC and API development.
