SAP FI/CO Consultant

About the role

The SAP FI/CO Consultant will act as an SAP architect and catalyst for digital transformation, supporting global business agility and the company’s strategic goals. The role involves designing, configuring, and integrating SAP solutions while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of best practices, guiding principles, solution architecture, and roadmaps for SAP implementations.
• Analyze business processes, gather requirements, design functional specifications, and configure SAP FI/CO modules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Configure, develop, and implement SAP systems, ensuring smooth integration with existing IT solutions.
• Prepare and execute test plans, support data conversion activities, and provide end‑user training and documentation.
• Identify technology deficiencies, legacy debt, and recommend improvement solutions.
• Participate as the SAP subject‑matter expert on projects, leading functional areas and implementation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP experience with strong FI/CO expertise, especially CO, Material Ledger, and Product Costing.
• Proven experience with full‑cycle SAP implementations or rollouts.
• Ability to work in an Application Managed Services (AMS) environment with an ownership mindset.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• SAP FI/CO modules (CO, Material Ledger, Product Costing, month‑end closing).
• SAP bank integrations, payment file processing, and EDI.
• Integration knowledge with PP, MM, and SD modules.
• VIM and Vertex (preferred).
• Agile, Project Management, and Innovation processes.
• Cloud technologies, big data, APIs, and SAP architecture concepts.
