Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular, React, TypeScript)

About the role

EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for its Service Delivery Center in Raleigh, NC (also open in Dallas, TX). The team delivers technology project-based work and managed services to clients, helping them modernize customer-facing systems, processes and products into intuitive, accessible and high-performing digital experiences. The role is fast-paced and requires flexibility and the ability to learn rapidly changing technology.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and user experience requirements with engagement teams
• Develop and test responsive web applications
• Integrate frontend solutions with backend services and support production deployments
• Focus on usability, accessibility, performance, reliability and customer experience
• Contribute to client transformation projects and recommend improvements on technology and client service issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in technology software development
• Strong frontend development experience with modern responsive design practices
• Hands-on experience building reusable components, single-page applications, state management solutions and accessible interfaces
• Experience integrating frontend apps with RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorization, error handling and asynchronous data flows
• Experience with frontend architecture, micro frontends, performance optimization, browser compatibility and secure coding
• Experience with collaborative tools such as Git, npm or Yarn, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks for unit, component and end-to-end testing, ideally with TDD or BDD
• Comfortable working in Agile teams with UX designers, backend engineers, product owners and QA professionals
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
