Senior Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic

About the role

WMH Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic to diagnose, repair, maintain, and support a wide range of material handling and industrial equipment across a designated territory. You will work directly with customers, solving complex mechanical challenges while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on electric, LP‑gas, diesel forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and related industrial equipment.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and power‑train systems and conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
• Carry out safety inspections, equipment evaluations, and document service activities and repair recommendations.
• Communicate directly with customers about equipment condition and repair solutions.
• Manage service calls efficiently within the assigned territory and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Forklift Technician, Field Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with experience in hydraulic, electrical, engine, and drivetrain systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to lift 50+ lb.
