Field Service Technician – Forklifts & Material Handling Equipment

About the role

WMH Solutions is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of material handling equipment across a designated territory. You will work directly with customers, ensuring safe and efficient operation of their equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on electric, LP‑gas, and diesel forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and related industrial machinery.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and power‑train systems and conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
• Complete safety inspections, document service activities, and provide repair recommendations to customers.
• Manage service calls efficiently within the assigned territory and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Forklift Technician, Field Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with experience in hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to lift 50+ lb.
