Senior Director Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function for a fast‑growing cell and gene therapy CDMO operating across multiple sites in the United States. The role will shape strategy, drive continuous improvement and partner closely with manufacturing and commercial teams to meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for supply chain, covering planning, procurement, logistics, inventory and distribution.
• Lead and develop department managers, fostering a high‑performance culture aligned with business objectives.
• Establish metrics and scorecards to monitor procurement, logistics and overall supply chain performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all relevant jurisdictions, including GMP requirements.
• Manage cost efficiency, workforce planning and inventory levels to optimise production outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Background in GMP and/or CDMO environments is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience using supply chain software or ERP systems.
• Proven expertise in global supply chain strategy, regulatory compliance and quality systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
