Customer Supply Chain Manager, Strategic Retail Account

About the role

This position owns the end‑to‑end supply chain relationship for a major national retail partner. The manager coordinates orders, inventory, forecasts and delivery decisions across sales, demand planning, warehouse, transportation and finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full order lifecycle from purchase‑order receipt through fulfillment, shipment and delivery.
• Serve as the primary supply‑chain contact for the retail account.
• Connect retailer forecasts, promotions and orders with internal inventory and fulfillment capabilities.
• Monitor SKU‑level availability and flag shortages, excess inventory or timing risks.
• Lead discussions on product availability, order changes, delivery timing and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with sales, demand planning, inventory control, finance, warehouse, transportation partners and the retailer.
• Handle operational requirements such as EDI transactions, ASNs, routing, labeling, packaging, shipment windows and retailer portals.
• Track performance metrics including fill rate, order accuracy, on‑time delivery, in‑stock performance, deductions and chargebacks.
• Investigate recurring compliance issues and drive process improvements.
• Support new‑product launches, promotions and seasonal high‑volume events.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in customer or retail supply chain, order management, fulfillment or account operations.
• Direct supplier‑side experience supporting a complex national retailer such as Walmart, Target or Amazon 1P.
• Hands‑on responsibility for customer orders and product flow, not limited to sales or marketing duties.
• Experience working with EDI, Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) and routing requirements.
