Senior Director, People & Culture Business Partner

About the role

Senior Director, People & Culture Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Greystar’s regional leadership across the East Coast and Canada. Reporting to the Managing Director, People & Culture, the role blends high‑level strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to drive people strategy, improve employee experience and support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Community Managers, Regional Property Managers, Directors and Managing Directors on workforce strategy, employee relations, organizational design and culture.
• Apply strong business acumen and understand P&L drivers to influence operational performance.
• Analyze data and insights to spot trends, risks and opportunities, turning them into actionable plans.
• Anticipate business needs, shape solutions and lead change initiatives to ensure alignment and sustained execution.
• Collaborate with People & Culture Centers of Excellence to maintain consistency across the organization.
• Identify and pilot emerging tools, including AI, to increase HR efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR business partner or people leader in a large, multi‑site organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive measurable impact.
• Strong connection to business operations and fluency in interpreting financial metrics.
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle and enhancing employee experience.
