Senior Director of Intelligence, Analytics & Data

About the role

The Senior Director of Intelligence, Analytics & Data provides strategic leadership for Advancement’s reporting, analytics, data governance, innovation, and organizational learning functions. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement Resources, this role shapes data‑informed decision‑making across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Establish vision, priorities and operating model for intelligence, analytics and data, aligning resources with Advancement goals.
• Oversee development of reporting, business intelligence and analytics capabilities to support fundraising performance and operational effectiveness.
• Provide executive oversight of data governance, data quality, stewardship and information management practices.
• Champion innovation through emerging technologies, AI‑enabled solutions and organizational learning programs.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team of directors and analysts, partnering with technology, finance and university stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data governance or related fields.
• Proven experience leading analytics, reporting or data strategy functions and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of data governance, business intelligence and organizational performance measurement.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data platforms.
