Senior DevSecOps Integration Engineer (Remote)

About the role

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Integration Engineer to lead Azure cloud platform engineering for a large federal healthcare modernization project. The position is fully remote within the continental United States and supports the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications, data services and enterprise integrations.
• Automate deployment of Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Databricks notebooks, APIs and supporting resources using Terraform, Bicep or similar IaC tools.
• Implement secure cloud architectures, including authentication, encryption, certificate management and secure connectivity.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, disaster recovery and operational readiness processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and drive long‑term reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience with 8+ years in DevOps, cloud or systems engineering.
• 5+ years designing and operating Microsoft Azure platforms and enterprise automation solutions.
• Proven ability to lead DevSecOps initiatives and collaborate across software, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services (Azure DevOps, Monitor, Key Vault, Networking, Data Factory, Databricks).
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Bicep.
• CI/CD pipeline creation, Git, PowerShell, Bash.
• Security technologies: F5 load balancers, Azure Application Gateway, mTLS, PKI, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel.
• Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP and Zero Trust principles.
