Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Rula is a remote‑first company focused on mental health care. The Senior Data Engineer will enable analytics teams to leverage AI on internal data securely and compliantly, partnering with analytics, marketing, and product groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, models, and platforms that support AI‑driven experiences.
• Define standards, infrastructure, and governance for secure, reliable data access at scale.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive projects from design through production.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data or software engineering with ownership of production data pipelines.
• Proven ability to work independently, drive projects end‑to‑end, and implement data security or governance practices.
• Experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA is a plus.
