Senior Customer Marketing Manager, HCP - MASH

About the role

Genentech's Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic (CVRM) marketing team is looking for a Senior Customer Marketing Manager focused on Metabolism, reporting to the Senior Marketing Director. The role partners with Commercial, Medical, Global and Access & External Affairs teams to support upcoming launches in metabolism-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), primarily targeting healthcare professionals with some patient-facing work. It is based in South San Francisco, California, on a hybrid schedule of three days per week on campus.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the customer strategy and the end-to-end integrated customer experience, including omnichannel engagement plans built on customer journeys, personas and market/competitor insights.
• Plan and run integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, overseeing core materials with agencies of record, websites, claims and components, and tailor content to customer segments and personas.
• Self-author derivative tactics for campaigns, incorporate post-promotional review committee edits, and support field deployment through communication, training and feedback loops.
• Run experiments on creative content and partner with agencies and legal/regulatory to ensure compliant, approved promotions.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant execution across platforms and customer types, define measurement plans using leading, lagging and satisfaction indicators, and manage media agencies and go-lives.
• Align internal partners and cross-functional teams, contribute to broader marketing and CMG outcomes, and pursue continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; two years of marketing experience or one year of marketing experience plus an MBA.
• Minimum five years of work experience, including at least three years in commercial roles such as market access, marketing, sales or customer insights.
• Preferred: MBA or other graduate-level degree, experience in omnichannel (including field) marketing, and experience in managed care, pharmaceutical or biotech customer engagement.
• Preferred: experience creating customer strategies and tactics, managing agency partners, NME launch experience, and CVRM, primary care or highly consumer-driven market experience.
