Senior Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

YouLend is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join its fast‑growing US team in Atlanta. Working hybrid (3‑4 days onsite), you will partner with the US credit risk and underwriting groups while leveraging the expertise of the global Credit Risk function based in London.

Key responsibilities

• Support overall market credit risk and drive the US credit strategy.
• Contribute directly to US business KPIs such as growth, profitability and loss rate.
• Collaborate with credit risk colleagues across regions, sharing tools, insights and emerging risk information.
• Develop and innovate credit strategy, owning key projects on the US roadmap.
• Continuously enhance the credit strategy to maintain a market‑leading capability.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, losses and early risk indicators.
• Prepare risk reports and insights for senior management and support Credit Committee discussions.
• Recommend actions to mitigate emerging risks and optimise portfolio outcomes.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with analysts, underwriters and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit risk analysis within a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with risk, product, data, compliance and commercial teams.
• Ability to manage high‑profile projects that shape credit strategy.
• Senior‑level expertise with a track record of influencing senior management.
