Financial Analysis Manager – Small Commercial FP&A

About the role

Travelers is seeking a Manager to lead financial analysis for its Small Commercial FP&A function. The role focuses on translating raw data into actionable insights, supporting the Select business unit’s $3.7 billion portfolio and over 700 k small‑business policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Select forecasting and planning process, including the annual plan, current‑year projection (CYP) and multi‑year plan (MYP).
• Serve as a primary finance business partner to the Product Management organization, providing insight for product initiatives, pricing, and growth strategies.
• Prepare, evaluate, validate, and present financial and operational reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Perform and review analyses to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support post‑implementation monitoring of results and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning within a corporate environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into financial outlooks.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with cross‑functional partners.
