Private Banker – Executive Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Banker at the Executive Director level to join J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank. The role involves advising high‑net‑worth families on wealth building, preservation and management, leveraging the firm’s extensive resources and specialist network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored advice.
• Advise on the full balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit and banking solutions.
• Generate new business and acquire assets from both existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise.
• Connect clients across all lines of business within J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
• Ensure solutions meet short‑, medium‑ and long‑term client objectives using a holistic, goals‑based planning approach.
• Comply with all risk, control, regulatory and security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years of experience in private banking or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series 7, Series 66 and insurance licenses (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Proven sales success and strong business acumen with an established client network.
• Deep understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts.
