Remote Billing Coordinator – Healthcare Billing Specialist

About the role

Labcorp is seeking a Remote Billing Coordinator to support its healthcare billing operations. This entry‑level position works Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm EST, and focuses on accurate data entry, insurance verification, and resolving billing issues for patients and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Enter billing information using 10‑key numeric data entry.
• Compare source documents and ensure data accuracy.
• Research and correct missing or incorrect billing details.
• Verify insurance information and update demographic data.
• Complete daily and weekly billing tasks on schedule.
• Communicate with clients and patients by phone to resolve billing defects.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Proficiency with alpha‑numeric (10‑key) data entry.
• Preferably prior experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
