About the role
YouLend is seeking a Head of Collections for the United States to own and drive collections performance across a rapidly expanding portfolio. This is a build‑out role where you will inherit a small, agile team and be responsible for scaling processes, people, and results.
Key responsibilities
- Own core metrics such as cure rates, repayment speed, cost‑to‑collect and losses.
- Design and continuously evolve segmentation, treatment paths and contact strategies for the US portfolio.
- Build hiring, onboarding and training processes for the collections team.
- Define the operating model, including structure, workflows, governance and performance cadence.
- Collaborate with Credit Risk, Finance, Capital Markets and Technology on tooling and automation investments.
Required profile
- Proven experience owning collections outcomes and related KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, train and develop a small collections team.
- Track record of holding teams to high performance standards.
- Experience working in a fast‑growing, data‑driven environment.
