Senior Consultant - Finance

About the role

Raftelis is seeking a Senior Consultant to deliver exceptional client service in the public municipal utilities sector, focusing on financial planning, rate setting, and bond feasibility studies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Excel‑based financial models, project utility revenues and expenditures, and design rates and fees.
• Produce, edit, and present reports, proposals, and presentations using strong public speaking and technical writing skills.
• Support business development, lead junior staff, and manage project work under multiple project managers.
• Communicate with clients to gather data and project information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years managing projects in water, wastewater, stormwater, or related industry.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed and work in a hybrid arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel, including Visual Basic programming.
• Strong MS Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with large data sets, MS Access, SQL Server, or relational databases.
