Senior Construction Cost Estimator

About the role

RIB U.S. is seeking a Senior Construction Cost Estimator to join its production estimating team. The role supports Federal Agencies, DoD, and State/Local government projects, delivering detailed cost estimates throughout all design phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage cost estimates for large, complex projects at every design stage.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost management.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Utilize industry‑standard estimating tools and software for pricing and resource allocation.
• Support value engineering, progress reviews, and project optimization initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 8‑10 years of estimating experience with a cost consultancy or contractor.
• Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and civil scopes; MEP knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Experience using estimating software.
