Senior Client Executive, Business Insurance P&C

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Senior Client Executive for its Business Insurance Property & Casualty (P&C) team. The role uses strong client servicing skills to maintain and grow client relationships within your own book of accounts while delivering professional insurance services through coordination with producers, underwriters and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations to clients
• Complete applications, prepare submissions and negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers
• Prepare proposals according to agency standards
• Resolve billing issues, make policy changes and answer policy coverage questions promptly
• Prepare exposure and premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals
• Participate in continuing education to maintain a P&C license and stay current with regulations

Required profile

• Active Property & Casualty license
• 10+ years of relevant commercial lines insurance experience, including at least 3 years in a brokerage environment
• Experience managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including renewals, and expanding services through upselling and cross-selling
• Strong oral and written communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to handle escalated client issues
• Significant experience facilitating client meetings and presentations

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with agency management systems and web browser software

A Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field, and insurance designations, are a plus but not required.
