About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Client Service Manager within its Employee Health & Benefits team. The role uses client servicing skills to maintain and grow client relationships, working with the sales team, carriers and clients to set up and renew benefit plans. It is about 70% internal and 30% client-facing, including strategy meetings and presentations to decision makers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand client relationships and renew benefit plans
• Run employee open enrollment meetings, wellness options and other day-to-day service
• Coordinate and advance wellness initiatives for assigned and other clients
• Manage accounts through the calendar year, including census data, quotes, carrier correspondence and renewal proposals
• Prepare employee communications, organize enrollment meetings and manage re-enrollment forms
• Help clients with federal and state compliance and interpret contractual language
• Meet carriers and clients by conference call or in person
• Complete continuing education to keep licenses and stay current on regulations

Required profile

• Active Life and Health license
• Strong oral and written communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to give presentations to diverse groups
• Time management and organization skills, managing multiple priorities
• Plus: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field, and insurance designations

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Agency management systems and web browser software
