Senior Business Systems Analyst - FSO Technology

About the role

EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst for its Service Delivery Center, based in Raleigh, NC or Dallas, TX. The team delivers technology project-based work and managed services to clients, helping them modernize applications, create new ones and drive efficiency across their platforms and channels. The analyst works in a project team alongside advisory professionals and is responsible for the design, build, configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements with stakeholders
• Analyze current business processes and identify improvements
• Develop functional specifications and use cases
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions
• Work with IT teams to turn business requirements into technical specifications
• Conduct data analysis to support decisions and strategy
• Monitor project progress against business objectives
• Train and support end users on new systems and processes
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical BA
• Experience in one or more of: Retail/Commercial Banking, Payments, Capital Markets
• Ability to work with a distributed team, including offshore teams

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum
• Hands-on experience with API analysis, system integrations and data flow mapping
• Familiarity with modern application architecture and cloud-ready design
• Understanding of testing principles and best practices
• Communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

What we offer

• Base salary of $67,000 to $136,800 for offices outside the listed metro areas (Raleigh/Dallas falls here)
